About Danville, New Hampshire
The quiet town of Danville is home to around 4,400 residents. The 11.7 square miles of land belonging to the town is rich with the essence of New England. Danville was originally a parish of Kingston until separation in 1760. Originally, the last name of Admiral Sir Edward Hawke was chosen for the town but, in reaction to the community’s distaste, Danville was selected as the alternative in 1836.
